About Us

Pasadena Vacuum & Sewing Center was founded by Jim Plotkin’s grandfather back in the early 1950's.  He managed the business for 29 years while pursuing a real estate career.  He sold his business to his employees, Joe Smith and Alfreda Leath.  Joe and Alfreda worked as partners in the business for twenty years.  After Joe retired in 2016, Alfreda & Robert Leath took over the business.  Their commitment was to continue to bring the best customer service to the community.
