About Us

Pasadena Vacuum & Sewing Center was founded by Jim Plotkin’s grandfather back in the early 1950's.  Jim ran Pasadena Vacuum & Sewing Center while pursuing a real estate career in which he had a hand in revitalizing Old Pasadena.  He sold the company to his employees, Joe Smith and Alfreda Leath.  They worked as partners in the business for twenty years.  After Joe retired the company was handed over to Alfreda & Robert Leath in 2016.  We are committed to bringing the best customer service to the community.
